A DUI Lawyer can help...
Assess Your Legal Situation
As an experienced South San Francisco DUI Lawyer, Mr. Pakneshan will help you understand the best approach and strategy for the defense of your case. He takes the time to understand your specific situation and takes an individual approach to your case. At the Pakneshan Firm we specialize in DUI defense and know the process inside and out – including options that a public defender may not tell you.
Too many attorneys see your only option as a plea to the DUI charges. Mr. Pakneshan believes that the best defense is a good offense. Therefore, he aggressively prepares the case by filing necessary motions and requests for pretrial discovery. Mr. Pakneshan focuses on getting your DUI case dismissed because the consequences of a DUI conviction are serious.
Explain The Consequences
Driving Under the Influence or DUI law is one of the most complex areas of criminal law. If you plead guilty or are convicted of a DUI, it affects your license, your job and your family. As an experienced South San Francisco DUI Lawyer, Mr. Pakneshan will be able to explain how those consequences apply to you such as (1) harsher punishments for those arrested with BAC limits over .08%, (2) special laws for underage drivers arrested for DUI, (3) possible community service or plea bargaining, (4) overlapping jurisdiction of Courts and the DMV action to suspend or revoke your license, and (5) restricted license eligibility that allows you to use your vehicle to get to and from and during the course of your work.
Manage The Process
If you have been arrested for a DUI, you have 10 days to request a DMV hearing. This hearing (also called an administrative per se hearing) is to determine whether you were driving with a BAC of .08% or more. If you refused to take the blood or breath test, the DMV hearing will be to determine whether you did in fact refuse. Dealing with the DMV can be frustrating and time consuming. We can manage the process for you by completing the required forms; making phone calls; scheduling and representing you at the DMV suspension hearing, and making other necessary arrangements.
Represent You In Court
As an experienced South San Francisco DUI Lawyer, Mr. Pakneshan knows the ins and outs of the courtroom and will work hard to fight the charges or obtain a lesser sentence. What many people do not know is that DUI cases can be won. With the right DUI Lawyer, you have the chance to fight and win your case.
Our goal is to make this process as convenient and painless as possible for our clients, while aggressively obtaining the best results. Depending on the type of DUI case, you may never even need to step foot in a courtroom. This is important for clients who want to maintain anonymity or have busy work schedules. Mr. Pakneshan may be able to appear on your behalf in all of your court and DMV proceedings.
In many cases, Mr. Pakneshan can be retained over the phone to go to court on your behalf. We can fax or e-mail you the necessary paperwork and receive payment via credit card—you never need to step foot into our office.
